1. When a Custom Battery Pack Is Required
A custom battery pack may be required when an available standard battery does not match the equipment’s voltage, capacity, current, dimensions, connector, communication or installation requirements.
A suitable solution must be evaluated as a complete electrical and mechanical assembly. Cell selection, series and parallel configuration, protection design, charging compatibility, wiring, connector, installation space and operating conditions all affect the final battery specification.
Customization does not mean that every requested size, shape or configuration is technically feasible. Final specifications must be confirmed after project review.
2. Battery Technologies and Solutions
18650 and 21700 Lithium-Ion Battery Packs
ASOL supplies 18650 and 21700 lithium-ion cells and evaluates custom cylindrical battery packs for suitable equipment projects. Cell model, series and parallel configuration, discharge current, PCM or BMS, wiring, connector and enclosure requirements must be confirmed according to the application.
Lithium Polymer Cells and Battery Packs
ASOL supplies lithium polymer pouch cells and can evaluate protected single-cell assemblies and multi-cell battery packs. Available dimensions, capacity, PCM, NTC, wires, connectors and battery configuration depend on the selected cell and technical feasibility.
Finished LiFePO4 Battery Solutions
ASOL provides finished LiFePO4 batteries and battery systems for RV, lead-acid replacement, residential and light-commercial solar backup, and commercial or industrial energy storage projects. Available voltage, capacity, BMS, communication, enclosure and system compatibility depend on the selected product and project requirements.
ASOL does not supply loose or individual LiFePO4 cells.
